got interested in the Civil War when my mother informed me that the family had letters from a ggg uncle who died of disease during the CW. Then found out there were more relatives who had served... then discovered a small photo album with pictures of some of the men from the 2nd Michigan Cavalry Co. ••••••••• I'm hooked!!!! Still searching for more information on all the relatives and hoping to put it all together to leave for descendants. been trying to get into a chat, but keep missing people.... or maybe I'm not doing something right...???

Have you tried the National Park soldiers, sailors register? It has a listing of most of the men who served during the war.
