Morning boys and girls, just a quick note announcing the return of the one.Long time since I look at the site due to other commitments but I hope to be able to get better aquainted with old and new members from now on.
Have been interested in the civil war for nearly thirty five years. In my youth I was a regular wargamer, with a confederate army of some size. I also edited a short lived magazine for fellow johnny rebs and billy yanks. I was also privelged to hold officer rank in 'The Confederate High Command [UK]' under Ken Sharpe and was involved in running the North West of England section of the organization for five years.
My main interest is in the Army of Northern Virginia, although any aspect of the Confederacy is of interest. Lately I have been attempting a 'what if' scenario of Gettysburg. Will give a preview sometime next week when I have finished the first 'test run' so to speak, if anyone is interested. After that I hope to give regular updates and would appreciate comments, advice and [some] critcism.
