Hi everyone! My name's MC and I'm a history major in PA with a focus on the Civil War. I'm starting to reenact this summer in Ohio with a volunteer infantry too. I'm excited! I'm as obsessed as I hope most of you are. See you around, MC
Welcome MC, I'm relatively new to this forum and am also starting my reenacting career with a MD unit this summer. I think you will enjoy it here. There are some very knowledgable folks on this board. Overwhelmingly they state their opinions passionately but with appropriate respect to their fellow posters (even if their views are 180 out). I appreciate that.
I know you will enjoy it here. We have a lot of fun and you will definitely learn something new on almost every thread. Take some time and read some of the stuff that has already been posted if you want to get to know something about the various personalities on our board.
And we will love it when you start posting your own ideas. We all feed off each other and that's what makes it so interesting.
Till we meet again, I remain, YMOS,

WElcome MC, I'm a member of 3rd MN VI myself. Welcome aboard. Hunt down the Re-enacting story thread, you'll likely enjoy it.

Welcome to the board and to reenacting as well. I am a member of the 76th OVI in central Ohio and also a member of the 17th MS, company D. You will learn a lot about the Civil War here and in reenacting. Enjoy!
