Hostilities commenced at Charleston about 4 o'clock yesterday morning! The first two guns were fired from Fort Moultrie against Fort Sumpter, when Major ANDERSON immediately replied with three of his barbette guns, and the action soon became general, and continued until it became too dark to operate with certainty, when the firing ceased, to be commenced again at daylight this morning.
