Default Historical Marker to be Set

It is my pleasure to announce that a Historical Marker will be placed this coming June at the site of the Hoover's Gap battle field honoring the 18th Indiana Light Artillery. This marker has been funded by funds from individuals. The site of Hoover's Gap is located on I 24 about 16 miles south of Murfreesboro, Tn at the Beechgrove Confederate Cemetery. As it stands at this time, living history batteries from Alabama and Indiana will be present. Both units portray the 18th Indiana (Lilly's Battery). The date and time of the event has yet to be set. When I know more I will announce it here.
Richard

Sam and I are in complete agreement. Good work, Richard! A memory of a few more yankees in Tennessee won't hurt a thing. We're getting used to them.
