Survivers of the Sultana

A reunion of the families of the victims on the Sultana. A large number of the men lost were captured at Athens and Sulphur Trestle on Sept 23 through the 25th of 1864. The reunion will be held at Athens State University, Athens Alabama on April 13th and 14th.

A bus tour will be held of Ft Henderson at Athens and the site of Sulphur Trestle in the little town of Elkmont, Al.
