I think that Washington's greatest feat as a military man, was keeping the Continental Army in the field all during the war, a quite remarkable accomplishment, around which, it can be plausibly argued, the success of the American Revolution, ultimately depended.

Beat me to it, OD. Washington's greatest victory doesn't on a day or location. His greatest victory was in keeping an army together for as long as it took. ("As long as it takes," sound familiar?)

Did you all miss the point of that article?
