A Maury County man is fighting to save a Parsons Bend Road cemetery that holds the remains of his great-great grandfather and possibly even slaves of the same era.

Default The Lost Cemeteries
One wonders how many cemeteries were lost over the last century? Many were sited where churches no longer exist, or were small family cemeteries.
On hikes, I've seen more than my share of cemeteries lost in forests and on forgotten overgrown lots between modern development.
