Our Governor(of Massachusetts), Mitt Romney, really, really wants to become president. Yesterday he was in South Carolina, at the Citadel, where he called the CW the "War of Northern Aggression" and said that he "hates the yankees."
Gov. Romney is between a rock and a hard place politically. He acted liberal to get elected in liberal Mass. and now he spends his time bashing Mass. to the rest of the country to appeal to them. When he flys back to Boston for brief intervals of trying to be governor, everyone is mad at him for what he said last trip.
However he later explained that by yankees, he meant the New York Yankees, so its OK.
Mitt needs a good photo-op. It has been a long time since he jumped out of his car and directed traffic (very Pattonesque) at the Winter Olympics <grin>.
I moved to PA from MA so I traded Mitt for Rendel. Last year we had a statewide contest for a new slogan. One of the front runners was "Our Governor Can Out-eat Your Governor". My favorite entry was "At Least We're Not New Jersey", close second ... "Our Potholes'll Kill Yah".
A Mass-hole campaigning in Charleston says he hates Yankees (who cares what type?). Gawd, what a pathetic P-O-S. Even Ben Butler would have more credibility.
BTW, Mass-holes are what the other New Englanders called the folks from Massachusetts.
Stay off of our NJ beaches then you rat or I'm gonna hit you with my poofed up hair and climb all over the George Meade monument the next time I'm in Gettysburg, take a picture of it and send it to you...lol.

That endearing little name is not restricted to other NE states. The first time I was called a Mass-hole was when I was living in TX. I am now officially a "former Mass-hole".
JB,
Never been to the Jersey shore, not a big fan of medical waste <grin>. Also, if you can reach the top of the Meade monument you are in better shape than I. Next time you are up there please bring a wet-wipe so you can do something about the bird poop on his hat.
Can we put the liberals in Mass and force them to seceed?

Yep, six months later he is still at it. He probably will be exposed as a fraud before long.
You reminded me how that Hillary C. claimed to be a Yankee fan while running for governor. She grew up near Chicago (not to reflect on the reputations of most Chicagoans). If New Hampshire had a team, I'm sure she'd be their best fan.
