Default An April Civil War talk in Western New York

Sons of Confederate Veterans
Buffalo Guards Camp-1975
Buffalo, New York

PRESS RELEASE

On Tuesday April 25, 2006, starting at 7:30 p.m., The Orchard Park New York Town Library, located at 4570 South Buffalo Street, will be will be sponsoring a Civil War discussion about Confederate Soldiers who lived and who are buried in the Western new York area.

The guest speaker will be Mr. Steve Teeft. Mr. Teeft is the Commander of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Buffalo Guards Camp-1975 located in Western New York and is a locally recognized Civil War historian. Mr. Teeft has been a featured speaker at many Civil War events and lectures.

The purpose of the Sons of Confederate Veterans just as the Sons of Union Veterans other veterans groups, is to preserve the history and legacy of the Civil War soldier and to serve as a historical, patriotic, and non-political organization dedicated to insuring that a true history of the 1861-1865 period is preserved.
