Barboursville to dedicate historic marker
The Huntington Herald-Dispatch Thu, 07 Jul 2005 11:02 PM PDT
HUNTINGTON - War came to Barboursville 144 years ago this month, and one local group wants to make sure people remember. The Border Rangers chapter 2580, United Daughters of the Confederacy, will dedicate a highway marker Saturday, July 9, commemorating the Civil War’s Battle of Barboursville.
