An aging monument to Civil War soldiers in southern Indiana needs a money transfusion to get fixed. Over 2 years ago the Civil War Monument on the courthouse lawn in Vincennes began to undergo about $ 20 ,000 in cleaning and repairs.

Where's WTHI when you need 'em? The men of Indiana were always there to bring grief to the Army of Tennessee and fought valliantly all the while. The good folks of Vincennes need to divert some corn and soybean money to this cause. Our Tennessee boys did their best to assist the good soldiers of Indiana in earning this memorial. Looks like the community has a project. We should do as well to recognize our own.
