Great Story Tommy. You don't happen to have a photo of the egg do you?

This was an egg-cellent story. I wonder what "shell" the cannon fired. Did they wait to see the "whites" of the enemy's eyes? I hope the cannon made the "grade". That's it for now...just want to this to be over...ahem...easy.

I would love to see a picture of that egg. I'm sure it must be quite a piece of artwork. Being of Eastern European descent, decorating eggs (pysanky) is been a part of my heritage. I've tried my hand it before -- very unsuccessfully, I might add -- so I know what kind of tedious work goes into it. I understand that the method chosen to decorate this egg is different, but working on such a small (and delicate) surface must still be very hard work. I'm sure this egg is a masterpiece and a great honor to the state of Mississippi.

Aphillbilly...I am glad it "cracked" you up. For a bit I was "scrambling" of things to say and I hopr that this type of answer "dozen"t make you in a "fowl" mood. I was kinda "chicken" to write this even though it might be thought of as fowl.

Terry,
I have searched as best I can, and will continue to do so but as of yet I have not found any image of the egg. Sorry.
