Sons of Confederate Veterans seek speciality license plate

I saw this story tonight on the local news(Nashville, Tennessee). I will post the update when they put it on the website. This was from last Thursday. One thing I noted during the newscast of this story tonight, the NAACP spokesperson and other black opponents easily had more than 3 times the amount of air time as the SCV was given.

Oh, for the good old days when a license plate simply identified the state where the car was registered!

I don't suppose it would do any good to point out to those who oppose the SCV license plate that, as long as bumper stickers remain legal, the members of the SCV will still be able to express their pride in their heritage, no matter how much time, talent, and energy is expended in an effort to prevent a particular license plate design from becoming reality.

George,
Have you not heard, you can be fired from your job if you have confederate flag decal on your car and you park in a company parking lot. The courts upheld the decision. Sad days.
