Civil War Cannon Discovered in Michigan

Here's an article about some Civil War cannon tubes found buried in Michigan and temporarily stored in a city garage after they were unearthed. What makes it all the more interesting is that one is apparently a Confederate cannon, which opens up speculation as to how it ever got to Michigan in the first place and why it was buried after it got there.
