Ladies Dresses for Sale!

Hello Ladies! My name is Dreama and I joined Civil War Talk in hopes of generating some business for my mom. My Mother and Aunt have been making reproduction civil war era clothing for years now and have finally decided to take it to the internet a bit. Lovely dresses, but may I ask how period correct are they?

How much of the dresses are finished by hand and how much by machine? Are the matericals authentic to the period (100% cottons, etc) or blends?

Might I suggest a stop off at The Sewing Academy, it's a great place to learn more about period correct sewing.

Wish such a gift as your mother and aunt seem to have, it would be a shame not to be as period correct as you can be.
