Funny you should ask..........

Ms. Rad was taught to shuttle by this "200 looking" year old woman at the Nassau County Fair back in the late 1980's . Then we went into the nearby town where all the antique stores are and found all these tatting shuttles. She also has a bunch of tatting books she found on ebay.Maybe I can find some of the tatting she has done. I've always said" you're born 140 years too late"
