It sounds wonderful.

My husband makes a great meal using 1/4ed cabbage wrapped in a few slices of bacon, add butter and wrap in tinfoil and bake in the oven. Because the dutch oven is sealled and self basting, you can do it without the tinfoil in it.

Default Amish Cinnamon Friendship Bread

Here is the recipe that I use when doing an Amish Friendship Bread.....enjoy! (under Options, I do not use the jello pudding, just the nuts and raisins)

Amish Cinnamon Bread

Day 1 You recive the fermented batter in a (1)-Gallon zip lock bag.
Day 2 Squeeze the bag several times
Day 3 Squeeze the bag several times
Day 4 Squeeze the bag several times
Day 5 Squeeze the bag several times
Day 6 Add (1) cup of flour, (1) cup of sugar, (1) cup of milk Squeeze the bag several times
Day 7 Let the air out and squeeze the bag several times
Day 8 Let out air out and squeeze the bag several times
Day 9 Let the air out and squeeze the bag several times
Day 10 In a large non-metallic bowl combine the batter with (1) cup of flour, (1) cup of milk Mix with a wooden spoon

Pour three one cup starters into three (1) gallon zip lock bags.
Give two starters away to friends with a copy of the starter instructions. (You should have one starter to mix, one to keep, and two to give away)

To the remaining batter in the bowl add:
1 Cup canola or other oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 Cup milk
3 large eggs
1 Cup sugar
2 Cups plain flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon

Optional
1 Cup chopped nuts
1/2 Cup raisin
2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding

In a separate bowl, mix 1 tsp cinnamon with 3 tbsp sugar and sprinkle well in a greased pan before pouring batter into (one) 9x13 or (two) loaf pans.

Bake at 325 degrees for 45 min or 1-hour of two loafs are used or until done.

P.S. All flour that is used is plain flour. And keep the bag out on the counter, do not keep in fridge. The milk needs to ferment.
