I am new to the forum, having just found it and would like to introduce myself. My name is Miche' Todd. I spend hours on top of hours researching my impression and take pride in attempting to portray a lady of the 1860s with as much accuracy and authenticity as possible. My impression changes from event to event, depending on the situation and scenario of that particular battle. Look forward to talking with you guys.

~Miche'

Miche' I would like to welcome you to the forum and hope you enjoy your stay here. I would suggest that you go to the new member area and introduce yourself to the rest of the gang when you get the chance. I think you will like them and this board.

Welcome!

Hi Miche'! Don't be put off by the picture on my profile, I have the heart of a lion but the soul of a woman, as they said about Col. Chamberlain.

This is a fun and informative site, and I think there needs to be more distaff-type discussion as well as ponderous and weighty political discussion.

So... what sort of persona do you portray?

Zou

Welcome, Miche'! I too sometimes portray ladies of the period. It's fun to look for documentation, or for accessories at street markets that can be useful, or learn new arts. I'm learning to sew, which for me would have been incredible only a few years ago.
