Default Don Juan

George Armstrong Custer rode this favorite mount in the review in Washington D.C. after the War. As Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain lead the Grand Armies of the Republic past President Johnson's reviewing stand,
Don Juan bolted (or so Custer claimed) and rushed past Chamberlain at a full gallop with Custer, long blond hair flowing, waving to the crowd.

Oh, that Autie. Ever the showman. No mistake, I'm sure, that Buffalo Bill Cody adopted a Custer-esque look for his famous Wild West show!
