Default Anybody heard of this haunted area.

Back online finally. My old computer finally gave up and took a while to get (afford) a new one. I lost all my links, info, etc

Somewhere, I found a site about Civil War ghosts and there were several posts about a battlefield, I think in Virginia but not sure, where as you're walking down a path you can sometimes see Confederate soldiers moving through the trees. The area is wooded. More often, terrible screams (cries) are heard coming from the woods. It's presumed these are Rebel Yells. Quite a few people report these sightings and cries.

Had the site bookmarked, but that doesn't do much good when your ancient hard drive croaks. The reason we'd like to find it again is we're going back east in a few months and will be stopping to visit friends in Gordonsville Virginia, which is close to a lot of battlefields. I've hunted for days now and just can't track down the site mentioning the ghost cries.

Look in the Ghosts of Virginia by L.B. Taylor - he has several books in a series.
