Though I've had some questionable experiences before on Civil War and Revolutionary War Battle Sites. However, the first true haunting experience I had was on the Sachs Covered Bridge when I found the "Cold" spot. Has anyone experienced anything while visiting this Gettysburg Site

Hi I have been to Gettysburg and to Sach's Bridge. Beautiful bridge so it was odd that I felt uneasy walking through it. This is the first time I have even mentioned this feeling. Other than that only Devil's Den was eerie the first time I went there.

Hello again
We stayed at a motel in a room that overlooked the Railroad Cut in Gettysburg. I think it was the talk about ghosts we had had as we walked around earlier in the night that cause this. I think I was dreaming actually. I would wake up and check out the time on digital clock. The numbers were red and you could see them well in the dark. I remember sitting up a bit and looking at the time then going right back to sleep. Then I awoke and looked at the time again but could not see the clock like someone was standing in front of it. To me it was a dream or I would have been scared but I went back to sleep. When I awoke later I could see the numbers again. The next morning I wondered if I was dreaming or not. lol.

Default Experiences in Geetysburg.

My wife, I and a friend of ours have had an interesting experience or two there.
One time about last September, we decieded to take a "Ghost Tour" while we enjoyed the tour and the stories as we tromped around the lower end of town, we were taken to a church that was identified by our guide as being used as a hospital after the battle. We were told of the horrors of battlefield medicine. As we entered what had been the Kirkyard the temperature dropped
(now remember this is early September, and quite a warm evening) un-comfortably. It was really cold. Not only that our 11 month old daughter in her baby backpack started screaming and crying and could not be comforted. It was only after we left the yard that the baby calmed down and fell immediatly asleep. But was we were hurring from the church yard. I almost tripped and reached out to stead myself on one of the iron fence posts, the post was so cold it burned the palm of my hand (almost like a frostbite burn) and I showed it to my wife and friend.
That was the end of our tour that night.

was so cold

Default Sach's Bridge.........

I've only been there once.....i found it exceedingly creepy.....even creepier than the slaughter pen.....

the night we were there, there was a group of "goths", teens, there.....hunting their black kitten who had jumped out of the car..... hope it got away, as I think they were going to do something awful to it.......
