Cash, I have collected published photographs, have visited the website of Fort Delaware, but have never been there. My wife's gg grandfather was imprisoned there for the duration of the war after capture at the Devil's Den in the battle for Gettysburg. He was in the 51st Georgia.

Would you please consider giving me/us your personal impression of the place?
