Default Tour of Hoovers Gap

A tour of Hoovers gap is scheduled for the 18th of August starting at Wartrace, Tennessee at 10 AM. The tour is free and the guide is author Dr. M. R. Bradley.

The battle of Hoovers Gap in June 1863 is considered by many historians as as important or more so than Gettysburg or Vicksburg. These three events all took place with in 10 days of each other.

Dr. Bradley has written and lectured about the war in Tennessee and the importance of the actions in the area. His resent book is about General Forrest's Escort.
