Default Headed to Elkmont, Al.

My wife and I are leaving in the morning for Elkmont, Al and then proceding to Pulaski and maybe a few other smaller locations near there. Does anyone have a good reveiw on places to to eat along the way?

Elkmont is the location of the action at Sulphur Branch Trestle Sept 25th 1864. It is my understanding that the location of the fort now has a home on it. Because I am researching one of the men captured there, I feel the need to go there and photograph the location. Somewhere in my collection of information, I have a photo of what is beleaved to be the original fort taken at the time it was being built.

Thanks

If you can meet the schedule, I highly recommend the restaurant in downtown Lexington, Alabama. You can't miss it. It the one with the traffic light at the intersection! A good place to take highway 11 up to Pulaski. Stop by Sugar Creek and Anthony's Hill and give my regards to the spirits you may encounter.
