Default What if California had a beef with the Feds about some "States rights" issue

Californians are outraged! Their rights are being infringed upon! (Some thing about minimum wage for undocumented Mexican nannys and income tax consequences.)

California secedes!

Pres. Bush orders reinforcements for servicemen at San Diego Harbor.

Gov. Schwarzenegger orders the USC marching band to fire on any ships approaching San Diego Harbor.

Cheney advises "let them go in peace (I've got a lot of big business interests there)".

The president is adamant! We must preserve the Union!

Calls up the Army Reserve! (Sorry, they say, they are all busy in Iraq and Syria.)

...... what if?

Being a Californian, I won't object to a Federal invasion so long as it's not accompanied by a disarmament of the civilian population. Dismantling our dysfunctional state government would be a great service to us. This doesn't mean I'm going to poach any Highway Patrol officers or anything like that. Rather, that I just don't care for our leftist ways.

Good riddance! (Just joking)

Although I heard someone ask during that recall election if we could force California out of the Union.

Default California -now

Well we'd give it back to Mexico, but get guaranteed rights to run the California ports.

Default Logistics in California

The Confederacy never had the logistics to control California.
