Hill's Plantation is close to Cotton Plant, Arkansas.

In Woodruff County, State 17, North of US 70 at Brinkley. The Hill Plantation is just west of town. On July 7, 1862, while Gen. Samuel R. Curtis was planning a campaign here against the Confederate held capitol, he engaged a Confederate force under Gen. Albert Rust. The battle was know as the Battle of Hill's Plantation, or the Battle of Cotton Plant, or the battle of the Cache.

Hope this helps.

Regards, Dave Gorski
