im new to the site but if you need some more specific info on the camden expedition i will try and get it at the library its full of old civil war records and stuff

im still doing some research but if i come up with any new info that i havent seen or read elsewhere i will surely post it been talking to a few older hands around camden that are avid relic collectors and they have agreed to take me to some of the batlefields and camp areas that are on private land to do some metal detecting one even gave me a handfull of dug bullets im real excited to go

Default Jenkins Ferry

I am proud to say that my Great Great Grandfather fought with the 12th Texas Volunteer Infantry, which hurried up to Camden after the battles of Mansfield and Pleasant Hill to help shew the Yankees away from Texas. Hurray for Texas!
