If they were formally buried, there is a good chance that the city cemetery on Chestnut St. or Mt. Olivet on Lebanon Road would be their resting place.
The Nashville Historic Commission will have a list of city cemetery occupants and Mt. Olivet probably has the same at their office. I'm not really familiar with soldiers buried at either one, aside from a few generals, etc. because my folks were lucky enough to survive Nashville. I haven't looked but I suspect Mt. Olivet has a website since it is still in operation. The city cemetery is just east of Fr. Negley, not near the battle but one of the older cemeteries. Mt. Olivet would have required transportation since it is a few miles further away. There were no mass graves that I'm aware of.
