Union Prisoners guard Enterprise, Mississippi?

I dont recall the confederate officer i believe it was a general but anyway one was captered around the battle of Jonesboro, Ga in Aug of 1864 and he later rejoined the army for the Tennessee campaign.

I wish I could remember who it was.

I also had a relative in the 41sy Ohio that was captered around Atlanta who rejoined the for the battle of Nashville.. I not sure if he escaped or was exchanged.
