Thumbs up Marker commerating the night attack by Johnson's Division at Franklin to Go up !!!

After 140 years 7 months and 13 days the night attack of Major General Edward Johnson's Division at Franklin, Tn is finaly being recognized.. I am so happy I have a smile the size of Texas

A Marker will be placed on the grounds of the Carter house wednesday in honor of thoses brave lads that fought in Major General Edward Johnson's Division

Brantiley's Brigade - Brig. Gen. William F Brantley
commanding 24th, 27th, 29th, 30th, 34th Mississippi Infantry,

Deas' Brigade - Brig. Gen. Zachariah C. Deas - commanding 19th, 22th, 25th, 39th, 26th/50th Alabama Infantry

Manigault's Brigade - Brig. Gen Arthur M. Manigault Brigade - commanding 24th, 28th, 34th Alabama Infantry & 10th, 19th South Carolina Infantry

Sharp's Brigade - Brig. Gen. Jacob H. Sharp Brigade - commanding
7th, 9th, 10th, 41st, 44th Mississippi Inf & 9th Ms Battlion Sharpshooters

I will keep you informed on the ceremony for the official unveiling.
