Yep, that's the place. Guess I need to go take some pictures. I've been to the Alabama side, but Mapquest claims 47 miles from Gravelly Springs to Eastport via the bridge on Natchez Trace Parkway, though you can see the hill on which Eastport sits across the river from Gravelly Springs. Gravelly Springs is listed on all reports as the headquarters of General James Harrison and his 13,500 man cavalry force which left there 22 Mar 1865 on their campaign during which they captured Alabama and most of Georgia, Forrest included.
