No, this seems to be fairly serious. I bought the book from Greg Durand's confederatereprint.com company (author of AMERICA'S CAESAR). He has great deals. I got it for something like $7.00 and a couple bucks shipping).

Somehow, I would picture Beowulf to have been a Thespian or more likely as one of the Theban hostagess, who surrendered at Thermopylae (although, if there is really justice in this world, I see him as being one of the Helots forced to fight and die with with their Spartan Masters, to no good purpose)
