Default Outside Open Forum

I would like to offer this thread as an Open Forum, in order to establish a one line of conversation in the which we can, (as Sherlock Holmes wrote to Dr. Watson at Reichenbach Falls, concerning Professor Moriarty)... have at those 'questions which still remain between us'...

I shall be here, then, and only post elsewhere when it directly applies to the Thread. Unless it applies to a thread, you shall only find me here...

And any such conversations which do not stay within thread, we can 'Take It Outside'! (Here.)

I will receive all former political questions, replies and answers here, at this address.
Do not look for any answers to off-topic questions asked of me elsewhere. If you want to inquire of me, do it here. It was certainly never my intention to chase a single conversation around a variety of headings...

Any thoughts?

Beowulf

Beowulf,

You state in your post above:

Quote:
"5fish and UnionBlue have of late both posited to me the idea that Politics be segregated for the purposes of allowing Threadiquette to enjoy their topics, as listed..."
I will not answer for 5fish but I HAVE DONE NO SUCH THING. I have NOT "posited" to you personally any such claim as you make above and I DEMAND that you retract your statement immediately.

My sincere apologies, sir. I was actually thinking of what Ole had said when I wrote that, and not what you had said, directly, in relation to the 'causes of war' in the thread you had started.

I meant no harm in the formation of this thread, and I ask your forgiveness for the unfortunate wording I chose.

I was just trying to accommodate the board in separating
the off-thread tangents our conversations take...

Your demand is of course immediately granted, sir. I do hope that this will suffice to set matters aright.

your obedient servant;

Beowulf
