Don't I know it! I have a 6 month old. Things sure have changed at age 39 when you find yourself unwittingly humming the theme to Dora the Explorer!

Now there's a generation gap! I first thought you were talking about Barney Fyfe. At first I laughed, but being tortured by that excessively tedious purple dinosaur takes guts -- especially the anticipation that tonight, you will again have the dubious pleasure of quality time with a 2-year-old and Barney.

Congrats on the children, our greatest gifts from God! Dance with him, I say, dance!!! ;-)
I became a father at 32 years old and then (again) 14 mos. later. They are 15 & 14 year olds now. Time does fly...enjoy each & every moment! Change them diapers like a Man!
My dances were to that great, big purple dino also.
Go,Go. Power Rangers was next...
Now, Morgan my eldest has inherited his Pap's fondness for the young ladies. My youngest, soon to follow with the same.

I'll certainly borrow my Mothers CD's of N & S, pt. 2. I'll formulate a way to locate me (in Gen. T.J. Jackson's troops) 'attacking' the Feds at 1st Manassas and of the story of a field rat I skewered with my Enfield's bayonet, while charging across the plain scattering the blue coats. Also, my admission to Jefferson Davis Memorial Hospital, in Natchez, Mississippi; a victim of heat-prostration...AKA, lack of sufficient water. Uhohhh. An ambulance picked me up beside some road, I have no idea where or how? Yep, 200 of us were admitted that faithful, sunny Novembr day. I heard an R.N. say, here is another one in grey; the halls were full of blue & grey. I stumbled back into camp later that night after an IV & rehydration. That little Union drummer boy drew more fire at Petersburg than I have ever known.Yep some of it was mine...;-( I poked my head up over the earthworks and Lord...the ground was being blow-up, smoke was everywhere and then...here they come, Yankees; the green-coated sharpshooters followed by Gen. Hazard & company. Had it been real, not one of them would have made it. The firing was so loud, per the artillery you couldn't holler to a friend standing right by you and him hear a word you said! The English Director complimented our volley (afterward) with a loud shout of enthusiasm. A loud Rebel Yell by us was given! We did this take 5 times. The US flag coming over the Earthworks at Petersburg, was right in my face. Gulp...we, gulp...surrendered.
I'll tell y'all more later.

I have a thicker hide than you could ever imagine.
You are the one who needs to loosen up and quit being so terse.
The fact remains you accused me of something without any basis in fact. Where I come from, an honorable person apologizes rather than continues to insult.

What kind of person starts a war and then complains about its effects?
Cash:
If you care enough to question me about today, it means to me that you consider my feelings by asking. With that in mind, and the fact your opinion and feelings matter to me, I am very sorry for my presuption that you were making fun at my friend.
For my accusation and presumption without pure knowledge of all the facts, and honor being highly valued by me, I apologize Cash and ask your forgivance?
I suggest that when you say I have never 'corrected' my Union friends on this board, that you have yet to view all of the threads on this forum.
My point is, and shall ever be, none on this board need to leap to my defense, engage others at what may be a preceived insult or dig, because I alone am responsible for my posts here, my feelings concerning them and what responses I intend to give to such posts.
I am also very much aware and am willing to concede that most of the posters here of any regional view, are adults and very much able to take care of themselves. I see no point in making baseless accusations on the idea that they are 'Southern' or 'Northern' points of view.
The only time I see tension on this board, as of late, is due to others who make assumptions for other board members and 'leap' to their supposed defense when that board member has yet to be heard from. It detracts from the thread, takes up valued bandwidth and wastes much time from the original intent of the forum.
I submit that I have not formed opinions of yourself, how much or little you know or what you have done elsewhere. I read your posts and respond to them and will answer for my responses and apologize if I am wrong of have offended.
No more or no less,
Unionblue
