Walking tours to be limited in size Watching the local TV news this evening, I saw a short item indicating that the Gettysburg Borough Council had passed an ordinance limiting the size of walking tours in town. From now on, a walking tour may include no more than 26 people, including the guide.
I'm not sure exactly what territory is covered by this ordinance. I find it hard to believe that they would care about the size of ranger walks or other guided tours operating on the open spaces of the battlefield. Perhaps the restriction is oriented more toward the ghost tours that operate on the paved streets and sidewalks. |
