Thanks, Bart. I think I see the pendulum swinging back. Kids in my generation let their kids get away with more than they did. The grandchildren got away with more than that. Now their children are starting to show signs of tightening up.

But sometimes the magic works. I have a niece; full-time mom, four kids; they are delightful to be with (and I hate kids). Furthermore, I firmly believe they've never even seen time out, much less the palm of mommy's hand. So it can be done.

Huge congrats there Ole. Like I said, some not all. The some are just way more obvious and annoying.

I hope they catch the filthy creeps. It's not just monuments, but what they stand for. People ought to be taught to respect things, people and what life is really all about.

In every generation there are always those who do not understand the sacrifices in the past and will blindly destroy any reminders of those sacrifices. Either they are not educated, or worse, educated and do not care.

If possible, a very stiff fine and or imprisonment should be placed upon those who carelessly and foolishly desecrate such monuments.Maybe a federal offense......Yeah!!!!
