Default Gouvenor Warren's injury at Little Round Top

I know the good Major General was injured up there. Can anyone provide me with the circumstances around it?

Cannon shrapnel gave him a serious flesh wound in the throat.

Believe it or not, he did make it to the War Council meeting late that same
evening with Meade, but slept in a corner the entire time, due to that wound
and exhaustion.
