I am not sure who's house that is but the red brick house on the left backround looks like the Culp house

I was thinking the hill in the background is one of the Round Tops and the road is the Taneytown Road. Only a guess, but Jacob Weikert's house?

I have a G'burg Farmstead Guide that show a picture of this same house and identifies it as Philip Snyder Farm. Info says Snyder and his two children lived here 3 miles south of G'burg. They fled on July 1 and returned on July 7. Located at corner of West Confederate Ave and Emmitsburg Rd. I think the red house in your picture is on east side of Emmitsburg Rd with Big Round Top in distance. Snyder filed claim with gov for damage but was denied since no actual fighting took place on property. Damage was just from Confederate occupation. Sorry so long in replying but my computer time is severely limited!
