Reunion Scuffle My mother, a young 14 years old, boarded a train in Kenova, West Virginia with her father, John Nelson Hubbard, on their trip to Gettysburg for the 50th reunion in the summer of 1913. She noticed several of the veterans were dressed in their "Blue" and "Grey" uniforms. During the trip a few of the old soldiers begun verbally fighting the War over again. Mom said she broke in to tears...and the old veterans finally settled down and became a little more civil. Grandfather died in 1927 and Mom in 1996.
