Dear FormerYank and List Members;

I have not finished going through my grandfather's book called; Under Both Flags - A Panorama of the Great Civil War. It was published in 1896 by C. R. Graham. It has personal stories from the participants from the Blue and the Grey side of the Civil War. This book was given new, to my grandfather for attending 'Sunday School,' in 1896. There are photographs of the battlefields, personal stories, poems and those who are featured are of many rank and file individuals.

Personally, I am not a writer. I do enjoy the letters, reports, memories and such by these veterans. I do understand, as I have watched and listened to my own father's veteran stories--the memories are best when fresh.

Thank you for all of you who listed your favorite picks.

Sincerely,
M. E. Wolf
