The Victors Write The History?

Dear Lilred,

I am of the belief that back in the days of the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, French and Indian War -- the Great Civil War; the individuals of those days were more entrenched by Biblical philosophy than of years of wars later.

Belief, faith and philosophy of religion has always been a strong root of strength, as well as skewing it as to justify war and or other behaviors.

In today's situation --we aren't Immune to such powers. We (in general) see it in politics a lot of late.

Just some thoughts.

And here's where you stumble, Beowulf: There are no credible Southern History writers, nor are there credible Northern History writers. History is what was, regardless of the personal bias of the writer.
