Prior to the CW, this flag emblem had made it's way from Florida Republic to Texas and back to Mississippi. Our SCV camp recently sold a passel of caps with this symbol. They may be politically correct, since folks in Tennessee don't know what they represent! I believe the states of Mississippi and maybe Alabama used this flag during the war.
