Default Regimental Uniforms
I was looking for the Troiani print of the 33rd New Jersey and came across this site.

I like how they link the pics to a unit history.

Yes they are but it still provides good visuals. Some of those regiments I have never heard of before.

Donnie Edwards of the San Diego Chargers collects World War II "dolls."

Yea, but they look like those GI Joe figs you had as a kid only w/ cooler stuff and they look pretty historically accurate.

We of the more refined taste refer to them as Figures or miniatures. that makes them more collectible and worth more money... at least that s as good an excuse as I can think of.

My unit Captain & 1st Sgt both collect them and I have to admit that the ones I've seen are pretty neat.

No! They are not "dolls" they are historical miniatures. The fact that I own some does not affect this discussion at all.
