Hoosier, please!

Did you not notice that the Confeddy General called OUR Mr. Lincoln "'A_ _' Lincoln"?

Are you not incensed at such villainy, license, impudence, and blasphemy?

Where is Unionblue? Why has he not answered this mutinous call for Miss'ippi mud-licking, fetid, fevered, louse-ridden, malarial-maddened rebs?

Since your post appeared directly below mine, I jumped to the conclusion that I was the person with whom you were upset.

I'm relieved to know that I wasn't.

Well, then,

Let's act like we are Union! Have you nothing to say about that perfidious reb leader?

Longstreet Lass, I finally found the post to which you were referring. I didn't even notice Oldreb's terminology the first time I saw it.

Doesn't say much for my powers of observation, does it? Guess I shouldn't be sent out on too many scouting expeditions.

I note, however, that the leader of our opposition has anointed himself a general, whereas I referred to our illustrious leader, Unionblue, as "Cap'n." Either we have to promote our guy or take theirs down a few pegs.

There you go. That's better. I was afraid I would have to fight this war all by my feminine self, and you know I cannot be trusted after dark.

Your powers, as they were, of observation are duly noted, and I will refer the matter to the Union leader, if ever we can find him.

And thank you, JG, as everyone else is...well? Where are they?
