Ladies and gentlemen of this wonderful forum, it gives me pleasure to introduce Mr. Neil Hamilton, aka UnionBlue. I have known Neil personally for five years, he reenacts occasionally Confederate but bit**es the entire time about being in butternut. He is a good debater when not discussing Abraham Lincoln (he gets passionate about old Abe), and will provide excellent references and obscure quotes, but that just makes the research on his arguments more fun.
Glad to see you finally making a statement, Neil. These folks are good people. I think you will like it here.

Ron, thank you for your kind words and your introduction. I would like to thank Ron for telling me about this site and getting me to take the plunge by voicing some of my own personal opinions about the War of Rebellion. (Sorry Ron, couldn't help myself!)

I must say that I am impressed by the quality of the information presented here! I have learned more since logging on here than in the past year surffing the web (at work, of course!). Thanks to all who express their views and back it up with research and fact. I pray that I will be able to meet the high standards that each of you have for this site. I also wish to make clear that I have NO problems dealing with my views being disagreed with, slammed or proven wrong. Ron has taught me one thing since arguing with him about the War. Back it up or deal with it!
