Sort of Strange Question

I've been looking for information about Civil War era tattoo artists/art. I know there was a gentleman in New York (Martin Hildebrandt) who tattooed soldiers.
Have any of you run across photos of this stuff? Or found any of it online? I just did a massive search, but couldn't come up with any photos.

Well I wish I could help but i'm not really into the tattoo thing. Maybe somone else can help you...
