I've read the book The South Was Right and found it to be very interesting and thought provoking if very controversial. I've also read Southern by the Grace of God by Micheal Grissom and War for What? by Francis Springer. Both are interesting books on the war from a southern point of view.

I also like to read books written from a northern point of view. Thanks for sharing your list, Unionblue. I'm going to have to check some of these out.
