Dear Kawalabear,

I cruise all the forums, so you don't need to double post. I think the rest of the members on the list cruise every section that sparks an interest.

Now, as far as Camp Kirby; I looked in the Official Records of the Rebellion and nothing really came up. In doing a search for "Eastern Shore" there were more hits but, Easton, Maryland was featured, in a vague sense.

You may wish to look up in your browser by typing: www.e-history.com

Then look for 'Official Records of the Rebellion.'

IF, Camp Kirby is a historical park; who ever is in charge of it; e.g. Maryland Park Authority or US Park Service; may have more on it.

An inquiry to the Maryland Government Archives might also be worth while.

And, another avenue might be the US Army Corps of Engineers; US Library of Congress and US National Archives.

Just some thoughts.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
M. E. Wolf
