It never ceases to amaze me where you come up with these, M. E. Thanks always.

Dear Diddyriddick/David;

I like coming across 'tid bits' that helps broaden the scope of war--to see beyond the battlefield. Although important to remember the battles and those who fought them--it is just as important to acknowledge the support system of the entire Army. Every job, no matter if sweeping the floors--everybody is extremely important. I do try to take this philosophy into my daily life and thank people who do labor that may be seemingly 'low' or unnoticed. (I do thank those who stock the fruits in the grocery store, I startled a police officer with a thank you for serving out of the blue, people deserve respect and dignity and feel appreciated--so I tell them so. I felt good when strangers gave me a verbal pat on the back. Made my day).

Just some thoughts.
